"So You Think You Can Dance" 

Desde 2010, por iniciativa de Dizzy Feet Foundation, se celebra en USA el Día Nacional de la Danza cada último sábado del mes de julio.

Esta campaña de base alienta a los estadounidenses a practicar la danza como una forma divertida y positiva para mantener una buena salud y combatir la obesidad. NDD logró el reconocimiento nacional cuando la congresista Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), una defensora de los hábitos de vida saludables, anunció en una conferencia de prensa el 31 de julio de 2010, en Washington, DC, que se estaba presentando una resolución del Congreso que declarara el último sábado de julio como el Día Nacional de la Danza oficial del país.



Cada año la DFF crea vídeos instructivos de baile para que la gente aprenda y comparta con otras personas. Los vídeos recogen una amplia gama de estilos para que todo el mundo pueda participar, divertirse y celebrarlo.

The Kennedy Center, in association with Dizzy Feet Foundation and in conjunction with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, invites everyone to celebrate the art of dance as it hosts the East Coast installment of National Dance Day. This free event features outdoor dance performances, interactive dance routines and lessons, live music, and "Dancing Under the Stars," with Jeannie "Kitty of the City" Jones as MC and performances by Dizzy Feet Foundation, hip-hop troupe Culture Shock professional and youth companies, celebrated dance/tap duo the Manzari Brothers, Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, percussionist Tito Rodriguez Jr., and many others.

8–9 p.m.: Salsa dance lessons with Eddie Torres and Shani Talmor
9–10 p.m.: Live music and dancing
